About him

Specialized in Polyhandicap and Cerebral Palsy (Neuropaeditric specialty), at the Faculty of Medicine Paris-Sud, with Professor Tardieu and Michel Le Metayer, 2012. Idris Fernandez is an international expert in non-invasive ventilation, trained by Prof. Dr. Antonio Esquinas Rodriguez, 2019. Mexican native of the land formerly called Al-Andalus, land of Ibn Arabi, Rambam and Averroes. He completed his initial studies at the Spanish University of Cádiz within the branch of physical medicine belonging to rehabilitation and physiotherapy, continuing his university journey at the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Comillas Pontifical University (I.S. de CC.SS. R. San Agustin), Université Louis-Pasteur Strasbourg, the Medizinische Universität Wien, Pierre et Marie Curie Pitie-Salpetriere Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Ghent, among other. In Anguleme, he trained with the Société Française de Psychanalyse Adlérienne under Prof. Georges Mormin, for support in oncology and terminal care. Trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine with the Beijing University Prof. Wang Fumin, Cádiz 2000. He specialized in Lymphology (Lymphatic Drainage and Oncology) with Prof. Dr. Albert Leduc at Lympho Kinetics Brussels-Belgium. And, Lymphology updates training with the participation of Prof. Dr. Corradino Campisi, Prague 2018 and Brussels 2019. Specialist in Cardio-Respiratory Rehabilitation and Intensive Care, he furthered his training in the treatment of cardiac surgical patients with Prof. Thierry Carrel at the Universitätsspital Bern and with Prof. Eckstein at the Universitätsspital Basel, 2010 both. From the hand of Prof. Guy Postiaux he hyper-specialized in Respiratory Rehabilitation and Stethacoustic: adults, children and neonates treatments, Belgium 2015. He was specialized in functional stress tests and bronchoscopy (by SEPAR) at the Gregorio Marañon University Hospital (Madrid). Since 2013, he has worked for almost seven years with Prof. Thierry Billette de Villemeur at the Department of Neuropediatrics, Developmental Pathology, Polyhandicap’s Pole at the Child's Hospital Armand Trousseau-La Roche Guyon (l'Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris , AP–HP). Collaborating during this period with the Federation of Polyhandicap France, with the Comité d'Études, d'Éducation et de Soins Auprès des Personnes Polyhandicapées (CESAP) and the Association des Paralysés de France (APF) in their projects and in the training of professionals. And he was trained, in turn, with das Konzept der Basalen Stimulation, von Prof. Dr. Andreas Fröhlich.
