What defines the Human Being is his Humanity
Continuing to relegate responsibility towards our fellow men, focusing more on advancing in futile aspects of life, when the most basic ones are not acquired for everyone, distances us from our Human condition, from our Humanity. The interaction with what surrounds us and those who surround us define our existence. To the point that it can be said that, as Human Beings, we only exist when we interact with the living beings of the Biosphere.
The inequality of access to that possibility of full interaction with our peers has led us to self questioning.
Why?
Why can't all hearing impaired people communicate naturally today with the rest of the world's population?
Why can't we all communicate naturally?
Why is learning sign languages not available to everyone and, above all, to all people with hearing disabilities?
Educational delay, isolation, rejection, barriers, etc., continue to be the daily life of children and adults. Of our fellow men who are deprived of the right to equality, face to everyone eluding their problem, which in reality is everyone's problem.
Why not think that just as famous musical compositions were created by people with hearing or visual impairment, we could be leaving out future scientists, doctors, politicians, artists, musicians, philosophers, etc., in whose hands well-being could be of humanity.
Why can't a totally visually impaired person interact with a totally hearing impaired person and communicate all at the same time around a table?
Why turn a blind eye to scientific evidence?, which tells us that the population trend is towards aging, that aging implies a hearing and visual decline, that said hearing loss and visual deterioration, today, lead to global isolation ( sensory and social). And, that the communicative decline of the human being accelerates cognitive deterioration, and all the pathologies associated with it.
Why don't we see that we all have “the problem”? We do not pretend to answer these questions, but we know how to solve them. Our Key Project, which we have called: “IF YOU USE YOUR HEART, YOU WILL HEAR MY VOICE”. It holds the key to the creation of a means of communication capable of allowing full interaction between people in all parts of the world.
Being a means of communication, a learning tool and sensory stimulation. In this way, it will not only allow people with hearing impairment from birth or acquired to communicate, but it will also be a learning and communication tool for people with other types of disabilities, such as those present in Cerebral Palsy.
